Pizza FAIL

I realize one must set expectations fairly low when selecting frozen pizza for lunch. But Freschetta really outdid themselves. When you take into consideration that each pepperoni is cut into quarters, there are 3 and a half pepperonis on this pizza. Also, most of the cheese is concentrated into two large chunks. Delicious!

Still, I baked it, sliced it, and served it to my husband to receive this compliment:

"This pizza has too much sauce."

No, Darling, it just doesn't have anything else.

The Little is Ugly?!

I am dissapointed to find out that many people think TL is unattractive. I think she is very, very cute so I find this hard to believe. Perhaps everyone is just jealous?

Camel Christmas

Nothing says the holidays like seeing camels on the street outside my office.

On an unrelated note: I found a gray hair on my head yesterday. OLD!

Halloween 09

This year we went out dressed as Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. A slightly more glamorous upgrade from last year's Hank and Peggy Hill costumes.

The Little was in a commercial! (sort of)

A friend of mine, Scott, was putting together a spot for NWAHomepage.com, promoting the Pets section. He shot some video of The Little playing with his dog for the spot. Unfortunately, TL is very squirrel-ly and not prone to staying still for very long which make her hard to shoot. The result is video that is mostly Scott's dog with the odd appearance of TL's rear end or ear in the background. Please enjoy! (She's the one in the pink sweater.)

Commercials

Sometimes I really love my job. Recently, I got to work on some spots for a Japanese Steakhouse and I am really happy with how they turned out.

Sunday Tradition

This is a picture of the Diggles on the couch. I took this shot today, though truthfully the same composition takes place most Sunday afternoons. I clean, do laundry and watch some sort of t.v. show marathon (today: Top Chef). The dogs, exhausted from watching me run around the house, retire to the couch for a 2-5 hour nap.

Take 5 Disaster

Today I went to workout, even though its a Friday. Am strong woman, full of will power. Then I stopped by the store to get a bag of salad to go with my chicken wraps. While at the store, I noticed Take 5 bars in the discontinued lines section. A Take 5 bar is a pretzel, topped with peanut butter, caramel, and chopped peanuts, covered in chocolate. They are very tasty. I have bought maybe 6 in my life. However, seeing them discontinued threw me into some sort of emergency panic mode. So I bought 8 of them. 8?! What is wrong with me? (I also ate one of them in the car on the way home.)
